Kent McCann

Baritone/Tenor 2
Music/Pre-Med, B'12
Acton, MA

Kent lives in Acton, Massachusetts, and he is absolutely thrilled to be changing his setting so dramatically by making the twenty mile trek here to Tufts. Kent has been involved in music since the ripe old age of five, when his parents first plopped him down in front of a piano. Since then he has also played trombone, euphonium, bass guitar, and the occasional Dispatch or Guster song on acoustic. During his junior year of high school, Kent decided that he wanted to give singing a shot, so he joined the school chorus. He even got so brash as to audition for the Madrigal ensemble, but he was apparently not up to snuff. He overcame this slight setback and joined the student run a capella group known as Thirteen Fish Named Jennifer; it was there that he developed his love for this peculiar genre. Here at Tufts, Kent is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Bubs, and is looking forward to all that the school and this dynamic group of young performers have to offer.
